Every listed company certified Shariah-compliant at the semi-annual review is included — the broadest Islamic benchmark on the PSX, weighted by market capitalisation. Certification follows the AAOIFI-based screens applied by the Shariah advisors. The index launched in November 2015 with a base of 15,000 points.
